Ugh, I PE so much

This is going to be a super short post.

My collarbone STILL hurts from when Collin Meris CRASHED into me in PE.

I spiral bound notebooks. SO much. They're out to get lefties.


I'M SO TIRED. I mean, we had like, a test in Computers, and one in Science, AND in Math. I think I got a B on the science one. =-( and probably a A- on the Math one.


I'M GONG TO TAKE ARION AND CHUCK HIM OUT THE WINDOW [great idea, Melinda]. Or kill Garrett Krebs. Or both. Sorry. They were both being serious idiots today in core.

So yeah. I'm sad because I have Ms. Skrivan and I WANTED MS. HEATHCOCK!!!!!! And coincidentally, a ton of my friends have Ms. Heathcock. X-P

Sunday

So, turns out that Josh McPaul was well enough to preach Sunday, but he nearly died in England or something.....

And yesterday we went down to Palo Alto and spent the day with the Yans, and we haven't seen them for AGES, only once a month ago for the first time in two years. Emily and Beth fight a LOT. But Beth's awesome, and we both like the same books. And she LOVES Twilight! =-) Uncle Jerry really loves video games.... so we spent a looooooonnnnnnng time just staring at the TV screen.

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! ORIENTATION'S TOMORROW!!!!! Can't wait to see everyone! Yay! It means that soon all the school supplies in Target are gonna go on SALE (eventually down to 75% off) and I'll be able to convince my mom to buy me tons and tons of pens and pretty notebooks.

Randomness

Hi, sorry I haven't updated in FOREVER, the Internet was down all yesterday. =-(

Swimming on Thursday was GREAT because we didn't do any hard stuff- we just did drills and stuff, only 50s and we didn't need the clock, which was awesome, because I hadn't been to practice for like, two weeks before then. And yesterday the only thing we did was dryland, warm up and then we played SHARKS AND MINNOWS the entire time. It was amazing. But we had to do wall sits, and I hate wall sits. And when we were playing S&M Dave made it a rule that you could drag people up to the surface. As you can imagine (if you know how the game works) it was really quite painful because that game the guys were the Sharks. Collin, John and Juan (this weird freaky guy) all decided to show up on the same day, and it was really violent and annoying because there were only six Minnows, and all three guys would drag one person up each round. But besides that, it was really fun, cause Sydnie was there, but she had to leave early. =-(

And Ms. Chea sent out a huge email today! But it's really sad, because Ms. Chea was really nice and cool. And I kinda want school to start really soon, because I can't wait to see everyone. And I really wanna we in tons of classes with everybody, and I want to know which teachers I'm gonna have...... It's NOT fair, because my cousin in Norway gets a class list and knows which teacher he's gonna get for the next year at the end of the school year, so he gets to know all summer.

And I'm also really excited for San Diego, because the Yans are going the same week as us, and I've only seen them once in TWO YEARS (because "Auntie" Alice has been so sick and "Uncle" Jerry's dad was also really sick, and sad stuff like that) and they're really good friends, and I've known then since, forever, really. So yeah. And we recently saw the Sanders and the Tus, and it was really fun, because Leana and Alison are really good friends, and Rachel is SO BIG now (she's 8, I think).

And soooooo many people are in mission trips in Uganda now, the Chinens, the Morgans, the Barthels, FOCus people...... It's kinda sad, because a lot of my church friends are gone and stuff, and I'm gonna be in San Diego with Uncle Dave (ugh. I don't really LOVE my uncle all that much....) the week they get back. AND ECLIPSE IS COMING OUT IN TWO DAYS ON AUGUST 7!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait. The other day (because Oma decided to randomly send me a $50 gift card in the mail) I went to Barnes & Noble and bought Twilight. And a ton of girls at Westminster Woods were reading Twilight. So yeah. I'm excited. Something to look forward to. And I checked out this great book at the library, but it's really short, so I finished it really soon. I really like the writer's style of writing. (The book's The Fruit Bowl Project)

And I babysat for Keiko and Ethan on Thursday and Monday I'm babysitting a little girl on my old block. And the house passed an inspection, so they're starting to work on putting the subfloor and insulation in, and there's part of a wall up! Hopefully it'll be built soon.

SO SORRY I haven't updated in FOREVER

Friday was the last day of school!!!! It's sooooooooo sad! =-'( I'm only gonna see some of my friends; my FPCB friends and Kenny, Rebecca, and Sydnie, and Paige, if she goes to Gators.
And Travis went to Solano with us. That was not cool. And now Pia and I kinda wanna know what Conner and Kevin were talking about.

But overall it was really fun Friday! And we totally should've started doing MASH a little earlier. We went to Jamba Juice and then got lunch and went to Memorial Park. And I'm gonna send out that massive email to everybody soon (in July).

Finally figured out how to use Meebo, which is good, cause then I can talk to people through AIM. But Syd, Grace, and I were having SO MANY ISSUES Thursday w/ the group chat thingy. =-)


Swim practice on Wednesday was SO fun! Originally, Sydnie, Rebecca, Kenny, Paige, and I were all together in lane 8, but Jerry moved Kenny and I to lane 7. But we did lots of kicking and we all went slow so we could talk.


Tomorrow I'm gonna start babysitting Ben, which should be fun, because he's just gonna play w/ Eliot the whole time.


And I already miss ALL my friends!! I mean, yeah, it's only been a few days, but I really miss all of you. But I'm not gonna post a fricking list of everyone.

Sunday

The eighth graders are now officially (in First Pres) OUT OF THE MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Now I won't have to see them anymore (until next year). I'm sooooooooooo sooooooooo sooooooo happy!


And Melissa wanted to highlight her hair and now it looks like crap. Really. It kinda matches Zoli's now.


Got my Presidential Award for the second year and Mr. Gann said my name wrong. He said Joanna. Hello! I was, at one point, in TWO of his classes a day! And he usually says my name right......


And today, it was soooo funny, Sydney was on her mom's cell phone calling her dad, and Kenny went up to her and hugged her and said "Hi Sydney!" Then I told her she was talking to her dad and he totally freaked out. =-)

Drama today

Albero was being a perv today too... (he's the Al I was referring to yesterday). We were doing that commercial improv and he- again, I'm not going to describe anything. But it had something to do with being wild and bedrooms. EW! It was really gross!!!!

And today was Hawaiian/Eat on the Field Day. It was really fun, except RB followed us onto the blacktop..... Cause she eats lunch with us. Kinda. I don't think people talk to her.
And then Kai went up to her and shouted BANANAS! But she just laughed. I really wish I was there when she fell flat on her face.

Swimming

Went to practice today. Kenny tried out and made As (he said he'd try to make Bs..... I think him mom made him), so we were swimming and stuff- then we saw Clio.

She's on Bs. (I just realized that I've talked a lot about swimming recently. =-) I'm about as swimming obsessed as Grace is track obsessed. ) SO, anyways, Jerry was correcting her freestyle cause before she got in the pool (this was WAY before her practice started, she spent nearly thirty minutes sitting in a chair doing nothing). So, later, Kenny was like, "I know which one's Clio!" and he points that this short kid thrashing around in the water. I think they were attempting to do butterfly. I'm not sure. I asked him "Why do you think that's Clio?"

"They're sorta short and they can't swim." It was sooo funny!!!

And today in Drama we were watching Whose Line is it Anyways? And there was this clip.... I refuse to talk about it. It was NASTY. And all the guys eyes start bulging and their mouths fall open. Some start laughing. It was worse than the part in Dead Poets Society and the guys pull out that poster (the guys LOVED that).

And later Al was like, "There's nothing wrong with liking it. I actually kinda liked it." I almost gagged.

Today at Lunch (again)

Oh my gosh! So, today at lunch, I was about to go to the blacktop when 90% of the school starts running towards the blacktop, and some people are climbing the fence. So Grace was like, C'mon! And Sydney and I started running after her, and then there are tons of people running toward the gap in the bushes on Cougar Field. And then we hear the sirens and people say they heard gunshots. And we kept running around on the blacktop.

And I kept on saying that they probably found crack on Cougar Field (there is a suspicious bag on the perimeter filled with a white chalky substance... [most likely chalk]). And it's possible. Ryo kept on telling people that there was a dead body w/ no head. Yeah right.
Then Garret Kreb's dad shows up in his police vest talking to people on the BART track. So everybody starts eavesdropping.

And in eighth period Ms. Lamson reads us a statement. That's the second time this semester (Ms. Sorg). The police got a suspect in a robbery. Ms. Davis thinks it was a high school student. Funnily enough, they got the suspect, but not the victim. Anyways, it was REALLY funny to see everybody running like mad.

And Travis kept on swearing today and I got pissed at him because of that.

Today at Lunch (and a couple other things)

Ok, so EVERYBODY's written about the Renaissance Fair- about how cold it was and how fun it was, so yeah.... And the African drumming thing was- it's kinda hard to explain. Such good blackmail material, though. If only somebody got a tape of all our teachers shaking their in front of the entire 7th grade. But at least we missed Science.

Sydney and I were saying that we've been scarred for life twice (those guys waxing their legs TWICE!!) , but now this is the 3rd time. Just great.


And then today Chris got one of those 6-foot bubble gum tape thingys that were so popular years ago and put all of it in his mouth! He started chewing like crazy, (and Veronica gave him a Pocky, and he almost ate it WITH the gum in his mouth. Gross.) then eventually he spit it out onto a stick, which Conner hurled over the fence onto the BART tracks (he's such a litterbug!). Later on Ms. Shepard (she's in the FPCB directory, but I've only seen her there twice) and she shook down the soccer ball from one of the trees and ALMOST stepped on the huge wad of gum! It would have been sooo funny if she did!


Then Chris took two packs of gum (Bazooka and Dentine Ice) and started popping Bazooka gum into his mouth when the bell rang. It's just so gross! How can you shove ten (plus) pieces of gum into your mouth?! Ew. Like Sydney said earlier, how did we/I end up with such a crazy bunch of people?!



And today in Science, I got really annoyed at Travis. Actually, annoyed is an understatement. I was really pissed. He kept on talking to Craig and Rylan, hitting random keys on the keyboard while I was TYPING (and I was also the only one doing any work) and- oh my gosh! HN's music video for Zero came out Thursday! Ok, so, back to the Travis thing, and he kept on being really annoying and complained how bored he was but didn't help at ALL. So when Rylan thought he was being really annoying (he wasn't really), just humming and singing, and I ignored him, which made him mad, because I constantly told him he was being annoying, so he got mad that I ignored him.

So he starts bugging Seido, right? And then saying that Seido likes me and all that crap, so Seido threatens to break his nose. Travis squealed and tried to get as far away from Seido as possible (which was about two centimeters) and covered his nose. Seido says that he'll get Kevin to help. Travis said that Kevin said he's never hit Travis again (does ANYONE believe that?!) It would've been REALLY funny if he did break his nose.... But that's mean, so I didn't say anything and kept on typing.


On Sunday my mom taught. And those stupid 8th grade boys sat in front of me, in the very front. And they kept on raising their hands in the middle of her talking asking stupid questions like, after she mentioned that she grew up in Sweden in one of her stories, "Do you speak Swedish?" and crap like that. And then they started giggling and snorting and laughing and everybody in the room wished they weren't there. They were lying down, with their feet close to us, and Hikari got so mad she took her cell phone out of her pocket and was about to stab Taylor's leg with it, but she decided not to (Jenna and Martine were all for it).

They are so IRREVERANT (sorry, inside joke with my History/English class) and have NO respect for authority! When my mom asked them to move they just said "NO" (and she's the only they actually listen to most of the time) and so when Evan asked Jack to move it took five minutes, and Jack refused to sit where they asked him and he was just in general being a butthead. And then Alden just sat there and laughed. Everyone says she's nice, and I guess she is, sorta, but she hangs out with them, and-


Kim Watson (Peter's mom) told me sometimes she gets jealous of how popular my mom is with those idiots, but honestly, sometimes I guess I get jealous too. Well, not really jealous, but annoyed that Alden can go up to me and say "Sarah's my best friend", or that the time we saw Jack in Target (what was he doing in Albany anyway?) he ran up to her and gave her a really big hug, or that Taylor keeps on telling me that my mom's awesome and totally cool. I mean, she's MY MOM. MY mom. I know that she's done some pretty things when she was young, I've heard all the stories from her and my aunts and uncles, but I mean, sometimes- most of the time, I really wanna slap them all. I mean, they don't think their moms are cool, so why do they think mine is? I just- she's my mom. Not their best friend.

I'm okay with Adrienne, Lesly and Hikari saying that my mom's awesome, because they're my friends, and they're not annoying. WOW. I wrote a LOT. Sorry.

I know that this happened a long time ago, but I was reading Syd's blog and then I remembered that time when Kai decided to wax his legs. Idiots. Anyways, here's what Sydney posted:

Today, I am officially scarred for life.

It all started with the election ppl who were putting up their posters today (our school is COVERED with posters). A lot of ppl at The Dome had masking tape and duct tape for the posters. So they started taping each others' wrists together and putting it in their hair, etc. Then, OMG, this is painful to recount, the guys dared each other to PUT TAPE ON THEIR LEGS AND RIP IT OFF!!! As in, like, waxing their legs!!! They all started to wax themselves and Conner got a big rectangle without hair on his legs. And Kevin, being the dummy that he is, decided to use DUCT TAPE. I think we all know how strong that stuff is, so, when he ripped it off, he screamed like a little girl.

When I think about this, it makes me wonder: How did I end up with this group of crazy ppl?!? But, I like my group. We always do stupid/crazy stuff and have a lot of fun without caring what other ppl think about us. So yeah.


When I asked Kai WHY he did that he said: "It's just one of those things that guys never do. I wanted to know what it was like!"

Drama Monologue

I REALLY don't want to do that Drama thing tomorrow! I haven't even STARTED to memorize- I know maybe, 5 or 6 lines. And I need to know it by TOMORROW! This really sucks.


I think basketball season for St. Jerome is over, which is bad, because then Laura will start showing up at swimming nearly every day. Darn. But I don't have to go to practice today because my mom can't give me a ride.


ACC was really fun! And we all love Susan! =-) She's the BEST.... The ropes course was interesting- I didn't go. And Mat just doesn't understand that I'm kinda scared to heights. "Church office" is really funny (NO PURPLE) but there aren't that many episodes. And I ALMOST bought a Skillet CD in the book store, except it was only a demo and I couldn't buy it. =-(


The demo people used 6,000 gallons of water when they tore down the house, and now the lot's completely waterlogged. You can jump or walk on it and the ground ripples. It's kinda freaky and cool at the same time.


Finally read The Last Days and I keep on thinking of "nine kinds of...".

The house (940) was torn down today!! Finally, so hopefully we can start building today. The idiots were supposed to show up on Monday, but they didn't show, so they prepped the house yesterday. My dad put one of the vids up on YouTube, so here's the link:

I still need to do the Spanish hw that was due on Friday. =-) Grace and I kept on "forgetting it at home"....... I really hate Spanish homework.


Drama today was fun. We started watching The Dead Poets Society, which I've heard was really good before today, but we only got to see 30-something minutes of it so I'm no exactly sure what the plot is yet.


Swim practice today, tomorrow, and Thursday. Tomorrow 23 comes, and maybe Remy, but he'll definitely be there Thursday, sadly. Today wasn't so bad, we did pretty mellow stuff. And Jackie's back!! =-) because track season for CPS is over (they didn't make it to NCS). And Colter attempted to flirt with her before practice. I wonder if he'll get Andrew to ask her out again (he's done that quite a few times, actually....)


Three tests today. I think I screwed up on the first part of part B on the history test, and I thought I messed up on the second part of the Science test, but Ms. Lamson showed me what I got on that after she finished grading it (I got minus zero for that part) so today wasn't that bad.


Today at lunch people started playing Zap, and then Veronica- well, Grace wrote what Veronica told her to, zapped me with SEIDO! (and someone zapped June young with 5 different girls, me, Grace, and somebody else...... Veronica zapped Kai with Jennifer, but he wouldn't ask her out.) And then before Science Rylan found out. Oh great. So then Sebastien started whispering (in the middle of the test) "Joanne, Seido completes you.", "Seido, Joanne completes you.", "Joanne, you complete Seido.", "Seido, you complete Joanne." and all that kind of crap and I got really annoyed at both him and Rylan.

Ugh

EVERYONE today was talking about Albert, Kai, and Conner. Conner said that he did it because it was "fun" and later on he said that it was funny, but fun and funny are kinda different. Huh. Yeah. sure. Sounds like a lot of fun. Kai said that the s kept on looking at him *gags*. I'm kinda surprised Kenny didn't to that, actually.........

ALL DAY people kept on telling me how Conner has a six pack and that Kai and Albert are really skinny and aren't nearly as buff as Conner.


I am soooooooo sick of people telling me that I should go out with Kenny!!!!!!!! (and that I look like a "biker chick" in Maddie's sunglasses) And it's mainly Kai. X-P So I told him that he looked cute with Chyna and he shut up.


Rylan, again, drove Saskia and I crazy, but he was moved halfway through the period. =-) But Simon's really annoying, too.

Whispers in the Dark

I think I've listened to it at least 15 times today. I really like that song. And Rebirthing.. They're both really good. P.O.D. and Pillar are pretty good, but I think Pillar's another genre.


Remy decided to show up at Swimming today, and it was really annoying, but he wasn't in my lane; I was with Amanda and Danielle. Amanda's unnaturally fast, and my foot kept cramping up...... Ha ha, Laura likes Colter! [And Jared and Ethan and Max, and pretty much anyone on JV/Gauchos/Gators who's at least 2 years older than her.] And Colter's really scared of her now. O crap. Tomorrow's Wednesday, which means that she'll be at practice tomorrow.


P.E. today really didn't make ANY sense. Really. And Mr. Gann said he'd run a lap because he made us do this retarded thing but he didn't! So it wasn't fair. Kai looked like an idiot when he put his backpack up his sweatshirt to be Louis the Fat.

In Drama I got an A! =-) (For knowing my lines) I was soooo nervous at lunch and then Kai decided to steal my script so I couldn't really practice and he wrinkled it, too. My partner wants to do lushka so we're going tomorrow. And I'm gonna screw up REALLY badly, but it's lushka which means he'll go easier on us. Thank goodness.


Rylan was impossible today! Saskia left early =-( and he didn't get anything that we were doing so I had to help him and he and Simon drove each other crazy all afternoon. He calls me Googly now and it's annoying.

Um......

Kai thinks he knows who Peppermint is and it's sooooooo annoying so Veronica came up with "Beat Up Kai Day". And at lunch all the guys were singing "The Mysterious Ticking Noise" and Potter Puppet Pals stuff (I USED to be obsessed with them, awhile ago.... Lemon Demon's cool, though.) and Kai can't sing for crap. And I finished Math hw in class today, it was really easy. =-]


The Fourth Power was pretty stupid. When Mat started whacking Sam on the back really hard and fast and yelling I got kinda scared. I think most of us did. Not a lot of FPCB people [kids] like Mat. And we played Steal the Bacon/noodle hockey. That was strange, but I did score a goal =-). And Mat kept on sucking up to his small group. Surprise surprise.


I think Saskia was ready to kill Rylan today, today he stole my binder (again!!) and scratched it up pretty bad so I whacked him on the head with it and them Ms. Lamson told Rylan off. But for some reason he's fixated on calling Saskia "blondie" and it pisses her off. A lot.


Just in case you were wondering *coughsydcough*..... Jess is Cliff's dog, and she's had multiple surgeries. I think that Cliffy's cat had cancer too and died a year ago.

4th Power

4th Power today. I kinda don't wanna go, but I promised Maddie I would. ::sighs:: I wonder who else is going, as long as Cat doesn't show up I think it won't be that bad- then again, Mat's idea of a fun game is very different than mine (he makes us play retarded games with complicated rules and they don't make any sense.). But a little birdie ::coughmymomcough:: told me that somebody else is in charge of games on Sunday, but I'm not sure about tonight.


Rylan was super annoying (as per usual) today. Saskia and I were really ed by the end of the day; however, he only mentioned me dating someone once, so it wasn't that bad. But he kept calling Saskia blondie and stealing my binder and pen.


That thing for drama. *sighs* I have to memorize my lines by Tuesday. I know most of them, except for that reeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllly long paragraph at the bottom of page 2. I memorized half of that. Japan Report was turned in today ::grinsanddancesaroundtheroom::!! Now I don't have to have to worry about that.

Right now I'm currently obsessed (don't I sound like Alice?) with "Whispers in the Dark" by Skillet. I really don't get how some people think Skillet's emo. I also really like "Searching for Angels".


All day Kai bothered me about guess who? [If you guessed Peppermint, good for you, cause you're right.] And it was annoying, really really really very annoying. I almost slapped him after school when he asked me for maybe the millionth time this week. But it was really funny to see his expression after I reminded him that *coughcoughsomeonecoughcough* practically STALKS him...... And Maddie J wasn't that much better. I really don't get why so many people care so much; it's really bugging me.

Swimming again today. Oh joy. Thank the Lord we had a really mellow day yesterday because there was only 10 or 12 people tops. But a lot of people show up on Thursdays, including Remy. Again, oh joy. I can't wait.


Japan Report due tomorrow. I only have 3/4 done. Some people aren't even halfway finished; but I did do all of the Ch. 14 work, instead of only going through to 14.5. At least tomorrow's back to normal, though STAR testing isn't that bad.


And I can see why Lilia said that we were immature. We put Kai's bangs up in a ponytail that stood up straight and Joun Young had two pigtail of the top of his head. They both looked like Emily, Grace's little sister. It was pretty funny, but we couldn't convince them to run at the track meet like that.

I swear I'm gonna end up killing Rylan before the month is over....

All today we would not SHUT UP about how I should go out with Seido. All period. I wanted to scream, thankfully I don't have any classes with him again until Wednesday when I have Science again. He also started bugging Saskia about how cute she would be with Craig. Ew.

It got to me so much that I took one of the really thin Science textbooks and smacked him over the head with it when Ms. Lamson wasn't looking. It effectively shut up up for a grand total of 2 minutes. I think that's the longest time he hasn't said anything the entire time I've sat at his table. And Saskia was really annoyed by the end of the day, I felt sorry for her, and for me.

In Drama I'm partnered with Rosemary Davies. Yeah, the arm girl, who can't stop waving her arm in the air when she acts. She asked me, and I felt sorry for her. We're doing Knock, Knock. I wanted to do Uncle Vanya, but..... ::sighs:: SOooooooo many people are doing Rainy Day. And Peppermint was being a perv today, sorry Grace.
