Swim meet

The meet today was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! But it was over really fast, because it started at 9 and ended by 11 (it was only a funmeet w/ us, the Hammerheads, and Montclair...)

I won my heats for 50 fly and 50 breast, which is really surprising, because breaststroke is my WORST stroke!! And back is my favorite stroke, but I was 4th or something. And for the 100 free I got tired halfway through the 3rd lap, so I was 2nd. And I'm kinda sad, cause I was leading nearly the entire time. But whatever. There's always room for improvement.

Kenny missed the hour of warmup and only did the first two events because he had to leave at 11. Which is so not fair, but then he had to do the relays (and I felt bad for him because he was on Clio's team and she was sooooooooo slow!) And Sydnie won her heat for the 50 fly!

The bad thing is that my goggles broke right before the first event(X-P) so I borrowed Sydnie's, and then my dad went home and got me my brother's pair....

And it was really weird, because Kenny's mom came up to me w/ Sydnie and Rebecca's sisters, and she was like "Oh, you should ask Joanne if you need to know anything about strokes! She knows everything you need to know! (and I was like, really? do I? and then she said, yes, you do) Joanne, yes, this is Joanne." And then I answered their questions, and then Dorise was all "Just go to Joanne if you have any more questions!" And then Kenny said "I said basically the same thing and they didn't believe me!"


And my writing camp starts tomorrow, and Summer @ the Park starts on Thursday. Which is really good, because I've been doing basically nothing all week except for swimming.
